2016 Recipients – Jillian Mahon and Dean Kim

Jillian was a accomplished four year field hockey player who also participated in track and lacrosse and Dean was a soccer and indoor/outdoor track player who also was a four  year member of the marching band.  Both were team captains who also excelled in the classroom during their time at WHS and were members of the National Honor Society.  Dean was a National Merit student and Jillian was an AP Scholar Award recipient.  Jillian was active in Peervention, Project Santa, Save the Children and volunteered her time at Family & Children’s Agency to work with at risk inner city youth.  Dean participated in St. Baldrick’s, Relay for Life, Friends of Rachel and was a leader in Project Change at WHS.  Dean also donated his time to play music at local senior centers.  Jillian graduated from Michigan State University and Dean graduated from Cornell University and UConn
