2015 Recipients – Carter Vail and Elizabeth Arthur

Elizabeth was a four year track participant who also played soccer and Carter was a four year football player.  Both were voted team captains for their leadership, encouragement and team first attitudes.  Both were outstanding students with many quarters on the honor role and both are accomplished musicians.  Andrew maintained a 3.5 GPA while Elizabeth maintained a 3.7.  Community service activities for Elizabeth included church youth group and mission trips, Safe Rides, Top Soccer, and creator of “Clothes with Care” where all profits were given to local charities.  Carter also participated in Top Soccer, youth task force to prevent drug use, and was a four year member, and director his senior year, of the Best Buddies program which strives to develop one-on-one friendships for students with disabilities.   Elizabeth is a graduate of UC Boulder while Carter is a graduate of University of Miami.
