Trackside Receives Donation

Trackside Teen Center of Wilton recently became the first community outreach participant to receive a donation from the Arthur J. Wall Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund.  The fund is named for Mr. Wall, an 18-year-resident of Wilton who was active in many community organizations until his death in 1999.  The scholarship is given each spring to a graduating male and female student athlete of Wilton High School who has selflessly given back to the community.

As the foundation has grown, the Wall Board of Directors decided to broaden its reach and selected Trackside to receive $5,000 from the proceeds of its annual golf outing.  “To achieve a long term golf of expanding our reach within this great community is very satisfying, and I can’t thank the friends and businesses who have supported us over the past 14 years enough.” said Kevin Wall, one of Art Wall’s three sons.  “We are thrilled to be a part of the rich history of the Wall Foundation” added Mark Ketley, Trackside Executive Director.  “This donation will help us continue to offer Wilton’s teens a safe, alcohol free facility to enjoy.”
