2013 Recipients – Tegan Helms and Sean Roberts

Tegan was a 4 year varsity soccer and lacrosse standout while Sean played varsity lacrosse and was a 4 year standout on the ski team – both were named Captains and won many awards for their athletic abilities.  Both were outstanding students during their entire high school career and both have outstanding character and integrity to do the right thing when no one is looking or will know.  Both participated in the Peervention and Bon Ami programs and are very active in their Church participating in mission trips and teaching Sunday school.  Top Inclusion Models, St. Baldrick’s Club and Best Buddies are also other organizations that have been important to our recipients and in which they are active.  Tegan cooked for and served at local food kitchens while Sean was active with Alzheimer’s Association and other local organizations.  Tegan graduated from Richmond University while Sean graduated from Wake Forest University.
